Jid-Vocals Unveils Tracklist in Anticipation of Debut Album Release

Last week, I got an email from Jid-Vocals, a Nigerian gospel artiste based in Ukraine, informing me of his upcoming album release.  My initial reaction was joy.

Why?  Because not every artiste makes it to that stage.  If you have noticed in the last few years, a lot of artistes (Christian and secular alike) release singles.  In fact, nowadays, it is so common for Nigerian artistes to release singles and make them free.  But how many of them get as far as releasing albums? To take it further, how many of them release albums with original music (not just re-singing popular praise and worship songs).  Not many.  So, it is something to be celebrated.

The multiple award recipient for Ukraine`s best gospel artist as well as "Crystal Gospel Awards" and "Nigerian Gospel Music Awards" multiple nominee for best male gospel artist in diaspora unveils his debut album tracklist. The album is titled "THE SPEAKING HEART" which features some of Jid`s previously premiered hit singles. In Jid`s words, each song bares my heart.

The album which has 8 tracks was co-produced by TimJ (CEO WOW Beats, Ukraine), Tweens Beat, Sheun victor and Jid~Vocals. It also features a Zimbabwean female gospel artist "Mqhele", a gospel rapper "Sanmation-X", Phil (first runner-up Elite Gospel Awards, Ukraine and the vintage voice "Jennifer."
