Versatile Blogger Award: Courtesy of Dr. Fomsky

Dr. Fomsky gave me the Versatile Blogger Award last week, and the song that keeps playing in my head is Ori mi wu o, e l'agi mo.  In case you were wondering, that's Rooftop MCs song, Lagimo.  Yes, the one with Cobhams.  Okay, let's not get carried away now.  Thank you very much, Dr.  Fomsky! The award came as a surprise to me, and truly made my day ... week.  Lol!  So, why was I surprised, you might ask.  Well, simply because Toinlicious had passed it on to me last year.

So, I have completed Part 1 of the Rules.  Oh wait! Where are my manners?  ('At home,'  replied a certain somebody).  Here are the rules for accepting the award:
  1. Thank the blogger that nominated me
  2. Share 7 Random facts about myself
  3. Nominate 15 bloggers who are relatively new to blogging
  4. Let the nominated bloggers know they have been nominated

7 Random Things About Me

  1. I still don't know what Nigerian men see in soccer/football.  I mean, what's so fascinating about watching grown men (or women) chase a ball up and down a field?  *runs and hides*  From the foregoing you can conclude that I am not a sports lover.
  2. I don't know how to pound yam in a mortar.  Who is willing to teach me?  A YouTube video longer than 60 seconds would be helpful. *grinning mischievously*
  3. I am usually well-behaved in public.  Usually.
  4. I have often wondered what a woman would do if she gave birth to a baby with a full set of teeth.  Feed the baby milk or meat?  What if she gives the baby milk and s/he demands meat instead?  I mean, the baby actually speaks and asks for meat and goes on to ask the mother why she is insulting his/her/its intelligence by offering it milk.  I wouldn't stand around to find out o! If you know the answer, kindly send me an e-mail.
  5. I can recite the days of the week in Hausa.  Should I recite it for you?  I will do so anyway (remove your hands from your ears.  It'll only be a few minutes jare):  Litinin, Talata, Laraba, Alhamis, Juma'a, Asabar, Lahadi.  You just have to trust that I didn't Google this.  And no, I won't make sentences with  each day either.  Okay, here's one example:  Today is Laraba.  *shinning teeth*
  6. Apparently, I love colors.  Just take a look at the blog design. Told ya.
  7. I don't like the name Kehinde, even though I am the younger twin.  Please don't call me Kehinde.  Thank you.  Relentless is fine. *smiles*

15 Relatively New Bloggers:

The following bloggers are not all new to blogging, but I decided to nominate them anyway:

And, it's a wrap!  Oh wait, I almost forgot the music.  This one is a throwback:  Na Ba Ka by Jeremiah Gyang, complete with lyrics and translation.  It's a classic.  Enjoy!
